This is a lovely modernist brooch with nine vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls among delicate leaves.

The pearls are 4.25-5.00mm round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. 

It is made of solid sterling silver. It has spray branch design with fine engraving and milgrain on the leaves. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. It measures 2 inches long. From Japan 1940's-1950's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
